Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Alliance Matrimony handles information when you use the app and related services. We use information to operate member profiles, facilitate introductions, support account safety, and respond to requests.

Information we handle

• Account information, including email address and sign-in identifiers.
• Profile information you provide, such as name, date of birth, contact details, location, education, work, family details, preferences, photos, and horoscope fields.
• Service activity, including interests, saved or blocked profiles, conversations, reports, and verification request status.
• Purchase and transaction references needed to activate access, provide receipts, handle support, and meet accounting obligations. Payment credentials such as a UPI PIN or full card security code should not be shared with us.
• Identity or address document images if you choose to submit them for required verification.

How information is used

Information is used to create and display profiles according to your settings, provide discovery and messaging, process membership access, review verification submissions, prevent abuse, provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not promise that every profile detail has been independently verified.

What other members can see

Eligible members may see profile information and photos according to your visibility settings and service rules. Private account credentials, passwords, payment authentication codes, and identity-document images are not profile fields and are not presented to other members. A verification result such as “Address verified” may be shown without exposing the submitted document.

Service providers and disclosures

We use hosting, database, storage, communications, and payment providers to operate the service. Providers process information only as needed for their service, subject to their applicable terms and safeguards. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect members or the service, or to resolve payment and safety issues. We do not sell member profile information.

Retention and security

We retain information while needed to provide the service and for legitimate safety, legal, and accounting purposes. We use access controls and other safeguards appropriate to the information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Document submissions are intended for restricted verification review and not public display.

Your choices and deletion

You can update profile details and visibility settings in the app. You can request deletion through our account deletion page. Some information may be retained where legally required or needed for payment accounting, fraud prevention, or an unresolved safety matter, and will be restricted for that purpose.

Children and contact

The service is intended for adults considering marriage and is not intended for children. We prohibit any child-safety violation, including CSAE or grooming-related activity, and review reports through our Child Safety Standards.
